Who Is Midcoast Tutoring?
Founded in 2025 in Maine, we have decades of experience tutoring in nearly all academic subject areas, as well as for standardized tests, college application essay preparation, and even English as a Second Language.
Founding Tutor Margit Ahlin
Margit has worked for ACE Educational Services, UCAN Plan for College, Online Tutor for English, the Los Angeles and Burbank Unified School Districts, and AOS98 schools in Maine, along with working as a self-employed tutor in face-to-face and online capacities. She is a graduate of New York University with a degree in English and holds a teaching certification in English, ESL, fine arts, and other academic subjects in the State of California.
